Error 400?

I'm receiving a (non-discriptive) error 400 in https://montage.toolforge.org/#/campaign/1015-wiki-loves-sudan-2025-camera-entry
The jury is not able to vote in their ranking round. What's going wrong here?

Hi, this problem doesn't seem normal is it possible to share which API call is returning this error, it would be very helpful if you share the error in the console and in the network section in the developers tool.

I tried deleting the round in order to create it new, but the 400 error is popping up all the time and seems to block every action when I am trying to resolve. Maybe it's visible in the backend what happened here?

Hi! I started investigating this issue and tried reproducing it locally.

While running the frontend, I observed that the request to /v1/admin/user returns a 404. It seems this happens when the backend API is not running locally or when the API endpoint is not reachable.

I'm currently setting up the backend environment to reproduce the issue fully and will update here once I have more details about the cause of the 400/404 response.

Please let me know if there are any specific steps or environment configurations recommended for running the backend locally.

Hi @CiellB, I opened PR #404 for this issue.

It includes:

1. Frontend fix to show backend validation details instead of generic 400 toast.
2. Backend fix for ranking rounds where full-ballot submission could conflict with the 100-submit cap.

I tried to verify on the linked Toolforge campaign, but my account gets Permission Denied on that route, so I could not fully test that specific campaign flow.

Could you/maintainers please test PR #404 on the affected ranking round and confirm?
